For the past few years, wedding trends have skewed decidedly rustic. We have seen more barn wood, mason jars, Edison bulbs and baby’s breath in the past five years than in all of wedding history combined. In 2018, we are starting to see the pendulum swing the other way. Wedding trends are drawing inspiration from Fashion Week to create much more luxurious weddings. This year we expect to see a resurgence of luxury as couples plan their nuptials. Brides are drawing inspiration from fashion runways, both for bridal wear and in reception decor.
