For the first time, Porsche owners can flaunt their elite status on their wrists with a custom-made timepiece made to coordinate with their car. The new Porsche Design Chronograph 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series watch allows owners to match the chronograph to their sports car exactly. One of six carbon dial colors accents the matte black titanium watch: Golden Yellow Metallic, Carrara White Metallic, Agate Grey Metallic, Black, Guards Red, or Graphite Blue Metallic. The watch strap is made of the same high-quality leather and thread as the interiors of the car, the rotor design mimics that of the car’s rims, and the iconic Porsche Design logo is also etched into the watch’s caliber.

Exclusive
While many will want to purchase this good-looking watch, the piece is exclusive to 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series owners. Only 400 fortunate buyers will own a 911 Turbo S and no more than 500 will own the coordinating watches, meaning owning one of these watches puts you in an incredibly elite group. The cars themselves retail starting at about $257,200, while the watches retail for $12,650.
The chronograph will be accessible exclusively to the future owners of the 911 Turbo S Excusive Series sports car, which is linked to the respective individual limit number (001/500 – 500/500) and can only be ordered at the Porsche Centers worldwide.
Sleek
It is hard to miss the iconic Porsche design of the chronograph. The sleek 42mm watch consists of lightweight titanium with a black carbide coating as well as a carbon dial, elements which are echos of the design details of the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series car. The watch performs like a Porsche sports car also. The brand developed its first proprietary mechanical movement for this design. The Caliber Werk 01.200 comes with a flyback mechanism which returns the seconds hand to zero to start timing again without the needing to restart.
A conventional chronograph function records successive events through three consecutive actions on the pusher: stop, reset and restart the timepiece. For the Chronograph 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series, Porsche Design has developed its first proprietary movement – the Werk 01.200 with flyback function that automates these three processes in rapid succession. Performance just like in motorsport.
