The latest in tech trends have been intriguing to say the least. I don’t consider myself a “techie”; I am definitely more of an old school kinda gal. Yes, I have my trusty iPhone and Alexa is basically my best friend but I’m definitely not one to monitor my fitness or activity level.

I was recently introduced to some of the latest “smart” products and was completely surprised at the fashionable designs. Wearable technology is no longer bland…it is now super chic and makes a fashion statement. I decided to try some of the latest wearable technology and style them into my daily wardrobe to see how well they would blend. Here are the products I chose and the way in which I styled them out.

Who doesn’t love to wear a chic statement ring? Well now you can stay (fashionably) healthy while monitoring your activity level wearing the fab Motiv Ring. This was the first activity tracker I actually enjoyed wearing all day. It was comfortable, easy to use and beyond convenient. It’s so hard to imagine that this ring is capable of measuring your heart rate, calories burned, sleep duration, number of steps and the intensity of your activity level. Crazy right?!?

The best part about the Motiv Ring is that it syncs to your phone automatically throughout the day. But if you ever want to sync on-demand, all you have to do is turn the ring around your finger a few types and it will sync! The battery life is about 3 days and you don’t have to have your phone near you because the ring has two days of onboard memory storage without having to be synced. Each Motiv Ring is specially sized for your finger. After you purchase the product, the company sends you a sizing kit to make sure your ring will fit you properly. It’s honestly an amazing product and one of the chicest trends in technology at the moment.

Fitbit Flex 2

Ok so I am a HUGE fan of wearing gold bangles. I love stacking them and was so excited when I came across the Fitbit Flex 2 because it blends in perfectly with my jewelry. You would never know this was an all-day activity tracker. By now I’m sure we are all familiar with the brand Fitbit, but I never knew they had such cute products. I always thought Fitbit was more of a rugged watch that was not made to wear on a daily basis in the fashion world. Well, they proved me wrong! I am officially a fan of Fitbit.

This product is similar to the Motiv Ring in the sense that it monitors your steps, distance, calories burned, active minutes, hourly activity and stationary time. However, unlike the Motiv Ring, the Fitbit Flex 2 automatically tracks your sleep quality and wakes you up with a silent alarm (now there’s an oxymoron)! I also love the fact that you can set reminds for the bangle to vibrate in order to make you move if you’ve been sitting for too long. Just like the Motiv Ring, the Fitbit Flex 2 syncs automatically and wirelessly to your phone or computer. The battery life is up to 5-days and it’s completely waterproof. I mean really…would you have ever realized this bangle is an activity monitor?

Spire Stone

The more I read about yoga and meditation, the more I realize how important it really is. Meditation and breathing are two of the most important ways to measure your emotional state. The Spire Stone monitors your breath all day and reminds you to stay in sync with your body in order to avoid stress. In other words, it reminds you to sit down and take a deep breathe (literally). Spire was designed to measure your breathing patterns and alert you to any sudden change. The app monitors your breath as either calm, tense or focused. The app uses state-of-mind algorithms through the Spire Stone to detect situations where your body might be under stress when you don’t even realize it. It is such a great way to be more aware of your own well-being. The Spire also monitors your calories and steps so you can track progress in your activity level. You can wear the stone discreetly under a shirt or you can wear it as a necklace.

All in all, whether you are trying to lose weight, watch your calories get your steps in; these gadgets are 100% worth your while and beyond trendy! Don’t want to stop there? You might also like my favorite workout gadgets.
