Transparent plastic fashion may be the new hit trend for Spring.  While several designers have created pieces incorporated this trendy new “fabric,” the pieces from Chanel’s Spring/Summer collection are arguably the most wearable.  Because many of the Chanel pieces are actually rain gear, they are as functional as they are fashionable.  Opt for a clear Chanel rain coat to make sure your gorgeous outfit underneath is visible even in inclement weather!

Tweed Mini Skirts

Of course, Chanel is world-famous for their house-made tweeds.  Chanel tweed has been stylish since your grandmother was a youthful fashion plate.  Because the fabric has been popular for so long, tweed can skew matronly if not styled properly.  Chanel has helped us out a bit on this front by making their Spring 2018 tweed skirts fresh and short.  Take another cue from the runway by styling the skirts with something modern.  The Chanel models rocked thigh-high transparent boots.  If you aren’t on board with the transparent trend, try a bold bag or a leather jacket.

Cobalt Blue

This bright statement blue looks good on almost anyone! When you are styling a cobalt blue dress, think about what kind of a mood you are trying to create with your outfit.  For a strong look, let the blue stand out by selecting nude, black or white accessories.  If you want to create a more romantic outfit, consider pairing the blue with soft pastels.  For a lively and energetic look, add in some jewelry in bright jewel tones.
