The fashion industry has made huge strides in recent years to become a force for good in the world.  Many fashion houses have changed their process in order to be more eco-friendly.  Other brands have also adapted their missions to help people in need around the world.  Shoe brand TOMS originated the “buy one, give one” model, donating more than 75 million pairs of shoes to date.  Several other brands have adopted the TOMS model for their own products.

Online eyewear store Warby Parker is popular for their unique free trial offering.  Choose five different frames, and try them at home for five days, before buying your favorite.  Instead of donating one pair of glasses for each purchased, Warby Parker makes a financial donation to men and women in developing countries to give basic eye exams and sell glasses at an affordable price.
