Canvas by Lands’ End

Every time I pick up a fashion magazine, I come across a beautiful photograph in just about every magazine, advertising Canvas by Lands’ End. When I received an invite to attend the release of the new collection, I was over the moon and so excited to see what the brand had to offer. Canvas by Lands’ End was a presentation so I had the chance to get up close and personal with their latest collection. All I can say is that it was everything I had hoped for and more! The new collection far surpassed my expectations and I am looking forward to wearing numerous pieces from Canvas.

The presentation took place at the new Lands’ End store located right in the heart of Soho. As I entered the store, models were standing on cubes wearing pieces from the new collection. One of the models immediately caught my eye because she was wearing this beautiful jacquard suit that was so luxurious and a must have item on my list. From the moment I stepped foot into Lands’ End, I was instantly impressed and knew I was in for a treat. As I made my way though the store, I passed by tables and racks filled with contemporary designs and slim silhouettes. I also came across the classic Lands’ End clothing that reminded me of my childhood. I love the fact that the brand is expanding and appealing to a larger audience yet still staying close to their roots as they have kept many of their original styles.

As I continued to walk though the store I was immediately drawn to this beautiful, sophisticated lady dressed in a stunning orange dress. I instantly recognized her…it was Federica Marchionni, the former president of Dolce & Gabbana U.S. Federica is now the designer of Canvas by Lands’ End. I approached Federica and she told me about the direction the company was headed and how she wanted to bring trendier and savvy styles to Lands End in order to cater to a wider audience and younger crowed. Her goal was to bring freshness to the new collection and that’s exactly what she did! Canvas by Lands’ End now has everything from classic pencil skirts, to boyfriend shirts to jumpsuits and off-the-shoulder crop tops. This is such a great collection and I can’t wait to see what else they have in store for the brand. Canvas by Lands’ End has officially landed; welcome to a new form of luxury!
